Previously performed in my computer two Radeon X1950XTX in Crossfire Association their service. Once a fast team, they were now but not necessarily high-end. In addition, the maps made at full load and tidy row and the heater was not without procreation. In the summer there was also happy times to graphics errors because of the overheating.
In short, the HD5770 was appointed to replace the two old cards. As has now re-done a lot in the graphics area, the new card is the same but sometimes much faster than the old cards in Crossfire composite. For comparison: 8400 points in 3DMark 06 compared to 12 500 with the HD5770 – without some problems, unfortunately the Crossfire brings with it yet (not compatible with all games) – that can still be seen. Risen is equally noticeable faster in more detail. The noise of the new card is considerably less – even under full load is not really annoying! Is drowned out by the other fans and my devil sound system problems.
The problem with the video BIOS, I had unfortunately – but the flash process is simple. I say just me who is already an extra card for installing buys, gets even the flash process down easily, especially since the instructions are on the Sapphire site says yes really great detail – detail is hardly more. Now the card runs at full capacity, as it should be.
As I still own a 19 “TFT, which is sufficient to me completely and I’m not sure in future also keen to portray me a 24″ monitor with resolutions beyond 1920 pixels per side, I should be able to play current games in the near future so good , especially since the rest of my system in case of an upgrade would certainly be renewed anyway.
Only the completeness half my current system:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (not overclocked)
4GB RAM
MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition
Creative X-Fi Music
and of course the Sapphire HD5770
